The birds were starving. They had no food and were too weak to fly. I looked at them and felt sorry for them. I knew I had to do something to help them. I thought about what I could do. I could go to the store and buy some birdseed, but that would take too long. I could also try to catch some insects for them, but that would be difficult. Then I had an idea. I could shoot food to them! I ran to my house and got my BB gun. I loaded it with birdseed and went back outside. I aimed the gun at the birds and fired. The birdseed shot out of the gun and landed in front of the birds. They saw the food and started to eat it. I kept shooting until all of the birdseed was gone. The birds ate all of the food and then flew away. I was happy that I had been able to help them.
