A Short Game About Carrots Once upon a time, there was a carrot named Larry who lived in a carrot patch. Larry was a very happy carrot, and he loved to play games with his friends. One day, Larry was playing hide-and-seek with his friends when he hid behind a big leaf. He waited for his friends to find him, but they never did. Larry started to get worried. He had been hiding for so long that he had forgotten where he was. Larry wandered around the carrot patch, trying to find his way back to his friends. He was starting to get scared. He didn't know what to do. Just when Larry was about to give up hope, he saw a little girl standing in the middle of the carrot patch. The little girl was picking carrots. "Excuse me," said Larry. "Can you help me? I'm lost." The little girl looked down at Larry. "You're a carrot," she said. "How can you be lost?" "I was playing hide-and-seek with my friends," said Larry, "and I hid behind a big leaf. I waited for them to find me, but they never did. I've been wandering around ever since." The little girl smiled. "Don't worry," she said. "I'll help you find your way back to your friends." The little girl picked up Larry and carried him out of the carrot patch. She walked to the edge of the forest and set Larry down on the ground. "This is where I leave you," said the little girl. "Your friends are just through the trees." Larry thanked the little girl and ran into the forest. He soon found his friends, who were very happy to see him. "We were so worried about you," said his friends. "Where have you been?" "I got lost," said Larry. "But a little girl helped me find my way back." Larry's friends were very grateful to the little girl. They all thanked her and then went back to playing hide-and-seek. Larry was very happy to be back with his friends. He knew that he would never forget the little girl who had helped him find his way home.
