Deidara was a missing-nin from Iwagakure. He was a member of the Explosion Corps during his time in the village. After defecting from the village, he was forced into Akatsuki and became its youngest member. There, he was partnered with Sasori until the latter's death, and later with Tobi before his own death. In other words, Deidara was a skilled shinobi who used his skills for evil. He was a member of Akatsuki, a group of rogue ninja who sought to collect all of the Tailed Beasts. He was partnered with Sasori, another member of Akatsuki, until Sasori's death. After Sasori's death, Deidara was partnered with Tobi. Deidara was eventually killed by Sasuke Uchiha.
