Two glasses of water sat on the table, condensation forming on the sides. The air was still and quiet, the only sound the ticking of the clock. The glasses were empty, but they would soon be filled with something much more refreshing. The door to the room opened, and a man entered. He was dressed in a suit, and he looked tired. He walked over to the table and sat down, then poured himself a glass of water. He took a sip and sighed, then leaned back in his chair. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to relax. But it was no use. His mind was racing. He had a lot to think about. He thought about his job, his family, his friends. He thought about all the things he had to do, and all the things he wanted to do. He thought about the past, and he thought about the future. He opened his eyes and looked at the glasses of water on the table. He smiled. They were a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there was always something to look forward to.
