The little girl stood in front of the mirror, her eyes wide with wonder. She had never seen so many clothes in her life. There were dresses and skirts and pants and shirts, all in a rainbow of colors. There were hats and shoes and jewelry and even a cape. She could be anything she wanted to be. She picked out a blue dress with white polka dots and a white headband. She put on a pair of red shoes and a silver necklace. Then she put on the cape and pretended to be a superhero. She flew around the room, saving people from danger and fighting evil villains. When she was tired of being a superhero, she changed into a different outfit. This time she chose a green dress with yellow flowers and a straw hat. She put on a pair of sandals and a backpack. Then she pretended to be a explorer. She traveled to faraway lands and discovered new things. The little girl played for hours, dressing up in different costumes and pretending to be all sorts of different people. She had so much fun that she didn't even notice the time passing. When her parents called her for dinner, she was reluctant to stop playing. But she knew that she would have plenty of time to dress up again tomorrow.
