Hoppy the frog was in big trouble. He had been caught in a trap by a group of children, and they were about to throw him in the water. Hoppy knew that if he was thrown in the water, he would drown. He had to think of a way to escape. Hoppy looked around the clearing where he was trapped. There were some trees nearby, but they were too far away for him to jump to. He looked at the ground, and he saw a small rock. Hoppy picked up the rock and threw it at the children. The children were startled by the rock, and they looked up at Hoppy. Hoppy took his chance and jumped out of the trap. He landed on the ground and started to run. The children chased after him, but Hoppy was too fast for them. He ran to the trees and climbed up into the branches. The children couldn't reach Hoppy in the trees, so they gave up and went home. Hoppy was safe, and he was grateful that he had been able to escape.
