Deep in space, on a remote planet, two androids detect an unusual signal. They investigate, and find a strange object that they have never seen before. They bring it back to their ship, and begin to study it. As they study the object, they begin to realize that it is more than just a strange object. It is a message, from a long-lost civilization. The message tells of a terrible disaster that befell the civilization, and how they were forced to flee their home planet. The androids are stunned by this discovery. They have never encountered anything like this before. They don't know what to do, or who to tell. But they know that they must find a way to help these people. They decide to return to the planet where they found the message, and try to find out more about the civilization that sent it. They land on the planet, and begin to explore. They soon find a city, abandoned and in ruins. But they also find something else: a group of people who are still alive. The people are a small group, and they are very weak. They have been living in hiding, ever since the disaster that destroyed their civilization. They are afraid of the androids, but they are also desperate for help. The androids decide to help the people. They give them food and shelter, and they help them to rebuild their city. The people are grateful for the androids' help, and they begin to trust them. Over time, the androids and the people learn to live together. They teach each other about their cultures, and they share their knowledge. They become friends, and they work together to build a new future for their planet.
