The little princess was feeling down today. Her maidservant was out sick, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in days. To make matters worse, she had just received a call from her best friend, who was coming over to visit the next day. The little princess knew she couldn't clean the bathroom by herself, so she decided to ask for help from her subjects. "My dear subjects," she said. "I am in need of your help. My maidservant is sick, and the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in days. I would be most grateful if you would come and help me clean it up." The subjects were happy to help the little princess. They gathered up the trash and threw it away. They put things back where they belonged. They even washed the floor. When the little princess saw how clean the bathroom was, she was so happy. She thanked her subjects for their help, and then she went to get ready for her friend's visit. The little princess's friend was very impressed with the clean bathroom. She asked the little princess how she had managed to get it so clean in such a short time. "I asked my subjects for help," the little princess said. "They were happy to help me, and they did a wonderful job." The little princess's friend was very impressed. She said that she had never seen a bathroom so clean. She thanked the little princess for her help, and then she left. The little princess was very happy. She had learned a valuable lesson: that it is always good to ask for help when you need it.
