Red Riding Hood Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a village on the edge of a dark forest. Her name was Red Riding Hood, and she was known for her kind heart and her beautiful red cloak. One day, Red Riding Hood's mother asked her to take a basket of food to her grandmother, who lived on the other side of the forest. Red Riding Hood was excited to help her grandmother, and she set off right away. As she walked through the forest, Red Riding Hood met a wolf. The wolf was very friendly, and he asked Red Riding Hood where she was going. Red Riding Hood told the wolf that she was going to her grandmother's house. The wolf offered to walk with Red Riding Hood, and she agreed. They walked together for a while, and the wolf told Red Riding Hood stories about the forest. When they came to a fork in the road, the wolf said that he would take the shortcut through the woods, and that Red Riding Hood should take the long way around. Red Riding Hood agreed, and she continued on her way. The wolf ran ahead of Red Riding Hood and arrived at her grandmother's house first. He knocked on the door, and when the grandmother opened it, he pretended to be Red Riding Hood. The grandmother was so excited to see her granddaughter, that she invited the wolf inside. The wolf ate the grandmother up, and then he put on her clothes and lay down in her bed. When Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother's house, she knocked on the door. The wolf called out to her, and she thought it was her grandmother. She opened the door and went inside. Red Riding Hood was shocked to see the wolf in her grandmother's bed. The wolf jumped out of bed and tried to eat Red Riding Hood, but she was too quick for him. She ran out of the house and into the forest. The wolf chased after her, but Red Riding Hood was able to outrun him. She ran to a nearby village, where the villagers helped her to safety. The wolf was never seen again, and Red Riding Hood learned a valuable lesson about the dangers of talking to strangers.
