Rieland, a young warrior, was seeking revenge for the cruel tyrant's many wrongdoings. He knew that the tyrant was a powerful foe, but he was determined to bring him to justice. Rieland traveled to the tyrant's castle, where he found the tyrant's men guarding the entrance. Rieland fought bravely, but he was outnumbered and outmatched. Just when it seemed like he was about to be defeated, a group of rebels arrived and helped him to defeat the tyrant's men. With the tyrant's men defeated, Rieland and the rebels entered the castle. They found the tyrant in his throne room, surrounded by his guards. Rieland challenged the tyrant to a duel, and the tyrant accepted. The two warriors fought for hours, neither one able to gain an advantage. Finally, Rieland saw an opening and struck the tyrant down. The tyrant's guards tried to avenge their master, but Rieland and the rebels were too much for them. With the tyrant dead, Rieland had avenged the wrongs that had been done. He had also freed the people from the tyrant's oppression. Rieland was hailed as a hero, and he ruled the kingdom wisely and justly for many years.
