New and Shiny The sun shines through the windows of the shops, illuminating the rows of products inside. Everything looks so new and shiny, like it has just been put on display. The colors are vibrant, and the shapes are sleek. I can't help but feel drawn to them. I wander through the aisles, taking in all the sights and sounds. The air is filled with the smell of fresh-baked bread and coffee. I stop to admire a display of jewelry, the diamonds sparkling in the light. I could see myself wearing each and every piece. I continue on my way, eventually finding myself in the home goods section. I browse the shelves, looking for something to add to my apartment. A new lamp catches my eye, and I decide to take it with me. As I'm checking out, I can't help but smile. Everything in my bag is new and shiny, just like I feel. I can't wait to get home and put it all together.
