You've Been Locked in a Stall on Christmas Eve The Christmas lights twinkled merrily in the mall, and the carolers sang their hearts out. But inside a stall in the women's restroom, a young woman named Sarah was anything but merry. She was locked in, and she had no idea how to get out. Sarah had been shopping for Christmas presents when she realized she needed to use the restroom. She found an empty stall and went inside, but when she came out, the door was locked. She tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. She pounded on the door and called for help, but no one could hear her. Sarah was starting to panic. She didn't know what to do. She thought about calling the police, but she didn't have her phone with her. She was all alone. Sarah sat down on the toilet and tried to think. She had to find a way to get out of here. She looked around the stall, but there was nothing she could use to break down the door. Suddenly, she had an idea. She reached into her purse and pulled out her lipstick. She unscrewed the cap and started to draw on the door. She drew a picture of a key, and then she wrote, "Please let me out!" A few minutes later, the door opened. A woman stood in the doorway, looking at Sarah in surprise. "What are you doing?" the woman asked. "I was locked in," Sarah said. "I drew a picture of a key and wrote, 'Please let me out!'" The woman laughed. "That's a clever idea," she said. "I'm glad I could help." Sarah thanked the woman and hurried out of the restroom. She was so happy to be free. She walked out of the mall and into the warm Christmas Eve air. She took a deep breath and smiled. She was home for Christmas.
