"You work the late shift at the diner, the best restaurant in town. But tonight, your ingredients seem... different. You've been working here for years, and you've never seen anything like it. The meat is pale and slimy, the vegetables are wilted and brown, and the milk is curdled. You try to ignore it, but you can't help but feel uneasy. You're about to close up shop when you hear a noise from the kitchen. You cautiously step inside, and your eyes widen in horror. A creature is standing in the middle of the room, its eyes glowing red. It's unlike anything you've ever seen before. The creature turns to you and smiles. Its teeth are sharp and pointed. You know you're in danger, but you're too scared to move. The creature takes a step towards you, and you scream. You turn and run, but the creature is faster. It grabs you and throws you to the ground. You hit your head and everything goes black. When you wake up, you're in the hospital. The doctor tells you that you've been in a coma for two days. You don't remember anything about what happened, but you know that something strange is going on. You're discharged from the hospital, but you can't shake the feeling that you're being watched. You're afraid to go back to work, but you need the money. You decide to go back to the diner, but when you get there, it's gone. The building has been demolished, and there's no sign of the creature. You don't know what happened, but you're glad to be alive. You're determined to find out what the creature was, and why it was after you. But first, you need to find a new job.
