"He's waiting for you to help him." The child is standing in front of the mirror, looking at himself. He is wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans. His hair is messy and his face is dirty. He looks up at you with big, pleading eyes. "Please," he says. "I want to look like a superhero." You smile. "Of course you do," you say. "I'll help you." You go to your closet and find a red cape. You put it on the child and tie it around his neck. Then you find a pair of red boots and put them on his feet. Finally, you find a mask and put it on his face. The child looks at himself in the mirror and smiles. "I look like a superhero!" he says. "You do," you say. "Now go out there and save the world." The child runs out of the room, cape billowing behind him. You watch him go, a smile on your face. You know that he's going to have a great time.
