Toothy loved costumes. They were so much fun to wear! He could be anything he wanted to be. A pirate, a princess, a superhero, a monster. He loved the way they made him feel. They made him feel brave, and strong, and powerful. He loved the way they made people laugh. He loved the way they made people smile. One day, Toothy was playing dress-up in his room when he heard a knock at the door. He opened it to find a group of kids from his neighborhood. They were all wearing costumes too. "We're going to have a costume party!" they said. "Do you want to come with us?" Toothy was so excited! He quickly put on his costume and joined the kids. They had a lot of fun at the party. They played games, danced, and ate candy. Toothy had the best time of his life. The next day, Toothy went to school. He was still wearing his costume. When his teacher saw him, she said, "Toothy, you look so handsome in your costume!" Toothy smiled. He knew that he was the best-dressed kid in school.
