The dead walk among us. They are the walking dead, the zombies, the reanimated corpses of the once-living. They have come to us from a variety of sources, from the bite of a zombie to a scientific experiment gone wrong. Whatever the cause, they are now a part of our world, and we must learn to live with them. At first, the zombies were a novelty. People would gather to watch them shamble through the streets, and there were even shows and movies about them. But as their numbers grew, and as they became more aggressive, the novelty wore off. People began to fear the zombies, and for good reason. They are strong, they are fast, and they are relentless. They will stop at nothing to feed on the living. In the face of this threat, humans have banded together to fight back. We have created militias and armies to protect our homes and families. We have developed weapons and technologies to kill the zombies. But even with all of our efforts, the zombies are winning. They are multiplying faster than we can kill them, and they are spreading to new areas every day. It is only a matter of time before the zombies overrun the world. When that happens, the living will have to decide what to do. We can either fight to the death, or we can surrender and become one of the walking dead. The choice is ours.
