The little girl gazed lovingly at her teddy bear. It was her most prized possession, and she took it everywhere with her. She had had it since she was a baby, and it was like a part of her family. "What shall we do today, my little bear?" she asked. "Shall we go for a walk in the park? Or maybe we could have a picnic in the backyard?" The teddy bear didn't say anything, of course, but the girl knew that he was just as excited as she was. They packed a lunch and headed out the door. The park was full of people, but the girl didn't mind. She and her teddy bear found a spot on a bench and settled in. They ate their lunch and watched the ducks swim by in the pond. After lunch, they went for a walk. The girl held her teddy bear close, and he kept her warm in the cool breeze. They walked for a long time, until they came to a playground. The girl ran off to play on the swings, and the teddy bear watched from the sidelines. He smiled as he watched her have fun. She was so happy, and he was glad to be a part of it. After a while, the girl came back to the bench. She was tired, but she was also happy. She sat down next to her teddy bear and put her head on his shoulder. "I'm so glad we came here today," she said. "This was the best day ever." The teddy bear didn't say anything, but the girl knew that he agreed.
