The time has come once again for the annual tradition of Quarrel Hill. This is the time when the people of the village gather together to trade insults with the ogre that lives at the top of the hill. Many will be injured or killed in the ensuing battle, but the tradition will be upheld. The ogre is a fearsome creature, with a sharp tongue and a temper to match. He is not to be trifled with, and those who dare to cross him will pay the price. But the villagers are not afraid. They know that the ogre is a coward, and that he will only attack those who are weak. So, on this night, the villagers gather together and prepare for battle. They arm themselves with rocks and sticks, and they chant insults at the ogre. The ogre roars in anger, but he is no match for the villagers. They are too quick for him, and they soon drive him back to his cave. The villagers have won the day, but they know that the ogre will be back. He will never give up his claim to Quarrel Hill, and he will never stop trying to drive the villagers away. But the villagers are determined to stay. They will defend their home, and they will uphold the tradition of Quarrel Hill.
